Nick Carter is the founder and lead designer of Formaworx. After earning his Mechanical Engineering degree and working for global engineering companies, he realized his passion lived in the creative side of design. In his spare time, he gravitated toward 3D modeling, printing, and architectural drafting—early signs of the career he truly wanted.
Motivated to shape spaces rather than just calculate them, Nick combined his engineering foundation with architectural design to launch Formaworx. Built alongside a Professional Architect with 40+ years of experience, the company blends technical precision with design clarity to produce plans that move smoothly from concept to construction.
Formaworx exists to deliver plans that are accurate, buildable, and easy to understand. Nick brings ownership, communication, and coordination to every project, ensuring clients receive guidance from start to finish. Outside of work, he enjoys water sports, volleyball, family, and community involvement—values that mirror his dedication to seeing each project succeed in the real world.
